On a warm July afternoon, a boy and a girl decided to rendezvous by the sea. It was the perfect summer day to be by the water. The Blue Hill Peninsula sits in the heart of the Maine’s coast, surrounded by islands and busy lobster boats. From the ceremony location there were beautiful views of Acadia National Park across the bay. Perfect for any Maine Elopement.
Lily and Trenton got ready separately and Lily did a first look with her dad before the ceremony. The ceremony was short and simple, and was followed by photos by the water! The ceremony location was on private land so we had no worries of anyone wandering though while they promised their love to each other. The sun was high and getting hot so we decided to cut it a little short and head to the lake.
Once we arrived at the lake, we were met with the beautiful golden light peering over the surrounding hills. As the sun disappeared, the bride and groom decided to go for a quick canoe paddle around the pond. They enjoyed the last light of the evening relaxing as the canoe slipped silently through the water.
They ended their day surrounded by friends and family, celebrating the beautiful day they just had. The love and support being poured out was unreal, and everyone had a wonderful time. The day from start to finish was absolutely beautiful. These kinds of days are simply magical!
