The sun was warm on the 27th of August, making it the perfect day for a Cape Elizabeth Elopement. The breeze was damp and salty as it came off the Atlantic, billowing over the sandy beaches of Cape Elizabeth. We met up with Scott in the parking lot and Robert showed him the secluded spot for their first look. Shortly after, Erin arrived and Yeti greeted everyone with some “awhoos” and tail wagging. We started walking with Erin to find Scott for their first look.
Erin & Scott exchanged an intimate first look with the soft waves crashing in the distance and the tangy smell of seaweed. After their first look, we found a private opening in the rugged trees where they exchanged private vows before reuniting with their close family & friends. We rejoined the group, Erin walked down the peninsula with her sister to Scott. Erin & Scott shared an intimate ceremony and were officially married.
Their families helped to set up a little charcuterie table with some cake and champagne. Their family toasted their new marriage, they cut their cake and just celebrated the day with their loved ones. After refreshments, we took them back onto the sandy beach for some portraits at sunset and blue hour. This day was filled with so much love.
