Sun Point Glacier National Park Elopement | Molly & Trenton

Can we take a moment to appreciate the insane beauty that is glacier national park? Absolutely iconic and oh man breathtaking. It is so vast and untamed. I mean look at those little trees in the bottom left, they are actually massive trees and those mountains. MASSIVE. Before I go off on how gorgeous Glacier is lets talk about Molly and Trenton’s Elopement styled shoot at Sun Point in Glacier National Park. These two are so fun to not only be around but absolutely genuine also.

I absolutely adore the Rocky Mountains that span from Colorado to Montana and into British Columbia. Growing up in the North East, I feel like I got gypped in the mountain department. Do not get me wrong, the North East has massive mountains. If you do not believe me then check out the Adirondacks, White Mountains, Acadia, or Baxter State Park in Maine and report back. We also have the Appalachian Mountains which are pretty cool also!

Back to Glacier National Park Elopements.

Glacier has become a hotspot for elopements increasingly so in the past few years after the rampage that 2020 was to the wedding industry. Glacier has one main road running through the park. This road is named Going to the Sun Road because you literally keep driving up the side of a mountain. This is an absolutely iconic park of Glacier National Park.

With the increase of domestic travel over the past few years, Glacier National Park like many other parks has increased restrictions on elopements and permits for elopements to help with all the traffic. Earlier this year I complied an elopement guide for Glacier National Park. I also wrote one for Montana in general because there are SO many cool spots in this massive state outside of the park.

Enough rambling now to the real reason you clicked the images.
