We met Nicolette & Zach back in May when we posted a story on our instagram asking for a couple willing to model for us in the coming weeks. Nic reached out and during that styled shoot we got to know them. We talked about their adventures traveling in their tiny home with their dogs, cats, and now fish. A few months later when Nicolette told us she wanted to book us for their Promise Ridge elopement, we were beyond stoked.
The Day of…
It was a warm September day when we drove to the Poconos to meet Nicolette and Zach at their campsite. They had parked their RV and set up camp next to Nicolette’s parents. The excitement in those two campsites was energizing and fun. Nicolette purchased a dress from Baltic Born and they had their first look in front of the campsite cute sauna. We then headed over to Promise Ridge for their intimate ceremony along the ridge-line.
Promise Ridge Elopement
Promise Ridge is an elopement and micro wedding venue in the heart of the Pocono mountains. Surrounded by old maple trees and Pennsylvania’s luscious greenery, it is the perfect intimate location for a ceremony. It is the literal backyard of Alisa Tong, a celebrant and host of the beautiful venue. Alisa’s attention to detail in the maintenance of her property and live plant wall is inspiring to an aspiring plant mom.
The beautiful florals and bouquet were done by the amazing Allium Floral Design of Fountain Hill, and the incredible food, with the candied bacon that I still dream about, was done by the amazing Chef Kara. Nicolette also had custom citronella candles made for the occasion and for their future campsites by Joint Goods in Easton. For the ceremony and reception live music was performed by Toby Costa.
