Otter Cliffs Elopement | Rendezvous Elopements | Chloe & Tom |

Title

Elopement at Otter Cliffs

The air was cool and the breeze was gentle on the island. Some would say it was the perfect day for a hike, others would say it was the perfect day for a wedding. Chloe and Tom decided it was the perfect day to combine both in an adventure elopement at Otter Cliffs.

Chloe and Tom are from the Adirondacks and spend their time outside exploring the local area with their two dogs. Their love for the outdoors and the desire for a relaxed day inspired them to ditch tradition. Spending their wedding day surrounded by nature was exactly what they were looking for. They wanted to get married in a place that was different than their home in the Adirondacks, but still represented who they were as a couple. Acadia was just that. An Otter Cliffs elopement would perfectly represent their love for new and beautiful landscapes.

A Quintessential Acadia Elopement

The morning of the big day, Chloe and Tom got ready in their hotel rooms at the Bar Harbor Grand Hotel. They had been staying here with a few family members for just a couple days. Once everyone was ready, Tom headed to Otter Cliffs where the first look would be happening. We were close behind with Chloe. With a few rock climbers present, Tom saw his beautiful bride all ready to get married. They exchanged vows there on the cliffs with the crashing waves singing a chorus in the background.

After the first look and private vows, we headed up the path to the chosen ceremony location that would accommodate the few family members in attendance. The ceremony was sweet and simple and onlookers were respectful and supportive.

After some family photos we headed to Jordan Pond for a private hike before dinner. We stayed on the Jordan Pond Path and hiked to the small beach on the far side of the pond. There Chloe and Tom shared their first dance. After the dance we headed back to the parking lot and the sky was quickly getting dark.

Chloe and Tom finished the evening being surrounded by a few family members at dinner. The Little Fern in Southwest Harbor hosted dinner and provided a delicious meal. The day was done and we were grateful to have spent it with Chloe and Tom in Acadia National Park.
