We met Madeline and Steve at Otter Cliffs for their September Elopement. It was a warm day on the rugged coastline of Acadia National Park. They shared their vows on the cliffs and soaked in the sweet September sea air. Madeline was wearing a stunning white dress with tiny blue florals and the longest train we have ever seen. It was so soft and delicate, a beautiful contrast against the jagged cliffs. After the ceremony, we headed inland to hike a small mountain to complete their September elopement in Acadia National Park.

It was a fairly quick hike up; we were all chatting about life as we hiked, stopping for views and vibes. Madeline and Steve share such a fun and lighthearted love. We reached the summit just in time for golden hour. We describe golden hour as the 1-2 hours before sunset. This changes depending on whether hills or mountains are blocking the horizon. The golden sunlight illuminated the changing leaves in the park, creating a warm, glowy hue.

We hiked down quickly and had time to make one last stop at Sand Beach for blue hour. We categorize blue hour as the hour after the sun has officially set over the horizon. This creates such a dark and whimsical vibe that feels so free and fun. It is the end of the day, so everyone is more relaxed and carefree.
