Sunrise Elopement in Acadia | Laura & Dylan | Rendezvous Elopements

Title

We met with Laura and Dylan early on their elopement day in their yurt at the Acadia Wilderness Lodge. The air was crisp and cool. The September breeze carried the scent of the ocean and the pines. We walked through the dimly lit village to their yurt. Laura was in the bathroom curling her hair and Dylan was standing in the doorway to the bathroom and they were chatting about their day. Once everyone was ready, we headed over to Otter Cliffs for Laura & Dylan’s sunrise elopement in Acadia.

We drove through the windy dark roads to the park loop road, parked the cars, and headed over to the cliffs. We found the perfect spot for their ceremony and there they shared their vows and exchanged rings and a kiss as the sun peeked over the horizon. They explored the area and we took them to some of our favorite locations on Otter Cliffs. The whole time we were on the cliffs a lobsterman was on his boat checking traps along the coastline. After exploring Otter Cliffs for a while, we headed over to Jordan Pond and showed Laura & Dylan the iconic bubbles that we would be summiting shortly.

Hiking South Bubble

We headed to the Bubbles Trailhead just a few miles down the road. Grabbing our gear, we started heading up the trail. The morning was still fresh and there were not many other hikers along the trail which was quite nice. We hiked up South Bubble, which has a gorgeous view from the top. This was such a perfect ending to their sunrise elopement in Acadia. It was nothing short of magical.
